Up for sale is a rare find for audio engineers, collectors, and musicians alike: a vintage AKG D190E Cardioid Dynamic Microphone in “excellent" working condition.
Manufactured in Austria during the golden era of analog recording, the D190 series earned a reputation as a highly reliable, smooth-sounding workhorse. Finding one in this immaculate, near-new condition with all its original presentation elements is exceptionally rare. We have two for sale. Both on the same physical condition and both working.
As used by the BBC for broadcasts during the 1970s and the 1980s.
Key Features & Condition
- Operational State: tested using the kit in the photographs. Microphones working as expected but we obviously can’t test dynamic response etc. the DI box and amp are not the best test rig but vocals were clear and clean.
- Cosmetic Condition: "As New" aesthetic. The finish is remarkably clean, and the mesh grille is free of dents or oxidation.
- Complete Vintage Package: Includes the original foam-lined hard shell presentation case and the original translucent AKG microphone stand adapter clip.
